Exploring the potential for clean, renewable energy generation along the spine of Cornwall, Eden Geothermal hope to harness the natural geothermal energy deep underground in order to supply both heat for the local community and electricity for up to 7,000 homes.
Distinctly different to traditional energy generation using fossil fuels, the potential social and environmental benefits of geothermal energy are huge. Our visual identity for Eden Geothermal focuses on these benefits and the hope personified by the brand.
Eden Geothermal’s logo — inspired by the two wells drilled deep into the Earth’s surface to harness the natural heat — is a play on this process and the benefits to both people and the environment.
Bold, powerful colours and graphic elements, inspired by the processes involved, couple with hand rendered illustration to give Eden Geothermal a hopeful and friendly feeling, contrasting with traditional brands in the energy sector.
Alongside the visual identity, guidelines and stationery, a website was developed as a showcase of the Eden Geothermal brand. Built using WordPress, with a custom theme and reusable content blocks, the Eden Geothermal website is accessible and user-friendly whilst being easy to edit and update for content managers.
